The health benefits of fermented food / beverages are undeniable. When you think about how important the gut/digestive system is to the overall functioning of the human body, coupled with what fermented food does, it quickly becomes obvious how beneficial fermented foods can be.

What is Fermentation?

Fermentation is the chemical change in something through a variety of bacteria types which changes the original substance into something different. The ability to use bacteria to convert something into a new substance is a big part of how humans evolved.
